1 / 3Play @ Heights Park
๐ Singapore, Central
Play @ Heights Park in Toa Payoh is a large, free outdoor playground featuring water spray zones, a flying fox zip line, climbing nets, rope bridges, tube slides, a sandpit, a mini skate area, and a toddler zone. Shower facilities and soft rubber matting throughout.
Play @ Heights Park is truly one of the best public playgrounds in Singapore, and itโs a fantastic spot for kids and families to spend a fun-filled afternoon. Located in the heart of Toa Payoh, this park is spacious, thoughtfully designed, and caters to a wide range of ages and interests. First off, the playground is massive. There are multiple zones spread across the park, including climbing nets, tube slides, a flying fox (zip line), and rope bridges that really encourage physical activity and adventurous play. The play structures are modern, safe, and creatively designed, giving kids plenty of options to climb, slide, run, and explore. One of the highlights has to be the water play area. On a hot day, itโs a lifesaver! There are sprayers, fountains, and little streams for younger kids to splash around in. The water jets are gentle and safe, and there are shaded seating areas nearby for parents to relax while keeping an eye on the little ones. Thereโs also a mini skate park section, which is great for slightly older kids or teens who want to scoot, skate, or try a bit of BMX-style fun. And for the toddlers, there's a sand play zone with interactive toys and diggers thatโs shaded and perfect for imaginative play. The park is beautifully landscaped, with plenty of greenery, open fields, and walking paths. Itโs not just for kids โ adults can enjoy the surroundings too. Thereโs also a fitness corner for those who want to squeeze in a workout while the children play. What I really appreciate is that the park is very well-maintained. The ground is covered with soft, safe rubber matting in most areas. Cleanliness is top-notch, and Iโve noticed regular cleaning crews. Toilets and washing facilities are nearby and easily accessible. Parking can be found at the nearby HDB blocks, and itโs about a 10-minute walk from Braddell MRT station, making it convenient even for those who donโt drive. Overall, Play @ Heights Park is a brilliant example of how a public space can be inclusive, safe, and exciting for all ages. Whether youโre coming for a quick visit or planning a half-day outing, this park ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended for families with kids of any age!

โWe had a lovely morning here with our 2 year old girl! We went on a weekday at around 1030am so it was not so crowded. The water sprays from almost every direction and you canโt really escape from getting wet โ so make sure accompanying adults also bring a change of clothes! My toddler hates water in her face/eyes so she got a bit annoyed after a while. There is a changing area but if you need the toilet badly, you can walk over to the nearby community centre. There is a wonderful playground featuring a long bridge that kids can climb up and down to get to 2 slides. The smaller slide is surprisingly quite fast? Both my toddler and husband were spat out of that small slide ๐ At the sandpit playground thereโs a zip line which got even me excited as an adult. We donโt see that around in Singapore playground much anymore. Overall a great play experience!โ

โAmazing play area with massive sandpit, swings, flying fox, extensive water play features and winding wooden adventure bridge walk with two slides. Tremendous fun. There is a shower section near the water play area. There are trampolines beside the adventure bridge climb, and beyond that, a smallish undulating cycling area perfect for children on tricycles and scooters, beside the toddler play area. Some people were playing badminton and other games on the bike track but made way once children started cycling. There are shops surrounding the area, including a supermarket.โ
