1 / 3Toa Payoh Central Playground
📍 Toa Payoh, Central
Modern outdoor playground beside Toa Payoh MRT with large climbing structures, small slides, simple water play, and swings. Designed for children aged 5–12. Free entry with pram-accessible ramp entrance.
Fabulous new playground designed for children 5-12 years old. The climbing section at the small slides is difficult for smaller toddlers. Also, if your child climbs up the slides and stands up, they will hit their head on the thick metal bar at the top. The large blue climbing structure is meant for older children. Saw some toddlers go on it and one fell backwards between the netting. Would have been better if they had a more toddler-friendly section, as these were the majority of the users we encountered. Even the peddle racers are too large for my son who is almost 4. (or maybe just the seat is too far back) There is a convenient ramp into the playground for strollers or prams. No shade or benches except beside the water play area.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 5–12 who want challenging climbing and light water play with easy MRT access. Supervise toddlers closely — the main climbing structure is not designed for them, and the metal bar above the slide area is a known hazard for children who stand at the top. Shade and seating are sparse, so bring your own.

Overview
Toa Payoh Central Playground sits directly beside Toa Payoh MRT, featuring a large blue climbing structure aimed at children aged 5–12, smaller slides, basic water play elements, and a couple of swings. The climbing sections are physically demanding — toddlers will find them too difficult without close adult help. A ramp entrance provides pram access. The pedal racers may be oversized for children under 4.
