1 / 2Boulder Movement Downtown
π Singapore, Central
Indoor bouldering gym in Downtown Singapore with beginner-friendly routes, lower walls well-suited to kids and first-timers, quality gear rental, and access to Boulder Movement's four-location network. Part of a trusted Singapore climbing community.
My second favourite bouldering gym in Singapore (although itβs a very close fight) Great place to climb if youβre new to the sport. The staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly, and so are most of the regulars. Thereβs also a great range of problems for all skill levels and the routesetting is very interesting. I particularly enjoy the ones in the corners because itβs not something youβll find in most other gyms. Facilities and location are great too. Iβd honestly love to come back more often but itβs certainly one of the more high end gyms around and just not as affordable as some other options.
π Family Action Verdict
A strong choice for families wanting to introduce children to bouldering in a supportive, knowledgeable environment. Staff are genuinely helpful, the routes are well-graded, and the lower walls are particularly well-suited to younger beginners. The central CBD location also makes it easy to combine with other activities.

βNice, fairly small and compact bouldering gym with great vibes, great service, nice music, tucked away in a great location! The boulders really need to be a little longer and the walls taller, but for the location and space constraints, I think it was great and I enjoyed climbing here! $19 off-peak pass, free combination lockers and nice showers are a plus (byot or $2 for a towel!). Grading feels a little soft, but generally consistent. Would be a great addition to have a moon/tension/kilter board in the future. Good mix of moderate problems, though maxes out around level 32+ (custom difficulty scale), which felt around V4+ / V5; it would be nice to have some additional difficult problems.β

βThe rental shoes stink! Thatβs the very first impression I have! It was a super fun moment for beginner like me. Easy to follow instructions and the climb routes are well organised. Though there was crowd control but it still seemed to be a bit crowded as the place is relatively small. Overall, pleasant experience and enjoyed much!β

βRelatively chill on a weekend afternoon. There are some interesting volumes and boulder problems, good for beginners as the wall isnβt too high. However, the gym size is very small and day pass of $35 is pretty high.β
