1 / 2Sentosa Nature Discovery
π Southern Islands, Central
A free, refreshed nature gallery on Sentosa housed in a former monorail station, featuring five interactive zones covering Sentosa's eight habitats, biodiversity, and geological history.
Love the thoughtful human centric design; you donβt have to walk under hot sun to get to know the flora and fauna. πΏ Sentosa Nature Discovery just got a glow-up!, Step into a greener side of the island and explore eight unique habitatsβfrom lush wetlands to coastal forests. The latest Sentosa Nature Discovery is a refreshed and expanded gallery that focuses on interactivity, with new features like a recreated swiftlet bunker and a variety of real-life specimens. The earlier version was a more basic initiative focused on conservation and making nature an attraction, while the new version serves as an environmental learning hub with five distinct zones that detail the island's biodiversity and sustainability efforts through interactive exhibits, storytelling, and hands-on activities. Best of all, it is free!
π Family Action Verdict
A genuinely rewarding free stop that works for all ages and mobility levels. Young children engage with the tactile specimens and recreated habitats, while older kids and adults absorb the storytelling on Singapore's ecosystems and sustainability efforts. The flat terrain means strollers and wheelchairs move through comfortably.
