A well-paced cultural stop that works for children of all ages - the mix of artefacts, colourful displays, and multimedia means there's visual interest throughout without overwhelming text-heavy panels. The whole exhibition can be covered comfortably in an hour, making it a natural pairing with a walk through Little India's markets and restaurants.

βThe Indian Heritage Centre offers a thoughtful, well-curated, accessible window into the history and heritage of Singaporeβs Indian/South-Asian community. It might not be huge, but itβs rich in content and context - a great choice if you want a meaningful cultural stop without committing a whole day.β

βJam Pack place! Filled with a lot of culture and things to see. Flea market occasionally happens here so definitely come check it out during divali, got free water and a lot of snacks to try out. Quite crowded so be careful when you are here.β

Overview
The Indian Heritage Centre presents Indians in Singapore: Past & Present - a permanent exhibition tracing the history of Indian and South Asian communities across Southeast Asia. Exhibits blend historical artefacts, multimedia displays, and interactive installations across themes ranging from ancient trade routes to contemporary Singapore. The building's contemporary design, inspired by traditional Indian aesthetics, is itself a draw.
