Just to counter a negative review. I have not visited but I did call, and the number was redirected to a cellphone. The man was not able to say much in English but he WAS polite and confirmed in mandarin that the museum remains open for visits by appointment, as always.

The Singapore Chinese Opera Museum is tucked inside Sultan Plaza in the historic Kampong Glam neighbourhood. Exhibits trace the development of Chinese opera from the arrival of Southern Chinese immigrants to contemporary performances, spanning Cantonese, Teochew, Qiong, Hokkien, and Yue opera traditions. Video performance highlights complement the display collections. The adjoining Bian's Cafe includes a multi-function hall available for private and corporate events.
