Just to counter a negative review. I have not visited but I did call, and the number was redirected to a cellphone. The man was not able to say much in English but he WAS polite and confirmed in mandarin that the museum remains open for visits by appointment, as always.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

A genuinely distinctive cultural experience for families with an interest in Chinese heritage. The depth of the collection rewards curious older children and adults, and the Kampong Glam location pairs naturally with a broader heritage walk. Arrange your visit in advance, and consider bringing a Mandarin speaker for a richer guided experience.
