1 / 3Enabling Village
📍 Bukit Merah, Central
Singapore's beacon of disability inclusion at Lengkok Bahru — a peaceful, green community space with inclusive cafes, art galleries, social enterprise retail, vocational programs, and tech demonstrations. Open to everyone.
This place is amazing! Truly an inclusive community space. It is a first touch point for persons with disabilities when seeking help and a place that truly believes in universal design for all. The tenants within this space contribute towards a more inclusive society in their own way! I suggest signing up for their guided tour! You will be inspired. Walk through the Art Faculty and other shops. There is also a Tech Able, where you can try out tech solutions for persons with disabilities. The F&B here is great as well. I tried the AMGD superfood! Healthy and nice food! This is not a mall. This is a space for all through its universal design.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Families with school-age children who are curious about the world beyond typical activity venues will find this community hub genuinely eye-opening. The guided tour is the best way to understand the mission, and the gallery and shops are worth browsing for meaningful, quality gifts. Weekday mornings offer a quieter browsing experience.

“What a fantastic visit to the Vista at Enabling Village! This whole place is a vibrant, heartwarming hub of inclusion and brilliant ideas. It is also tranquil and peaceful, very inviting for those who prefer a gentler walk and some time to relax. The i'mable Collective Space on Level 2 at Vista is inspiring—a hub with a gallery, studios, coffee and retail space showcasing the talents of persons with disabilities. We are super carry products that are high-quality, unique, and meaningful gifts. Browsing supports training, employment, and celebrating diverse abilities.”

“There's a mini bookstore here that offers a curated range of wellness books, some which I have never seen before that are potentially great read. There is also a cafe here. When I visited on weekday morning it is relatively quiet, a good reading spot.”
