Big compliments to the manager on duty who helped us on 21/08! We arrived a little late (the movie started at 4:00pm and we only got there at 4:05pm), and she was so kind and patient in guiding us through the last-minute purchase of the Save Our Screen voucher. Thanks to her efficiency, we managed to enter the hall by 4:10pm. Despite the place being very crowded, she handled everything with such professionalism and a great attitude. Super thumbs up to her effort — well done!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
A solid, community-focused cinema where the staff genuinely look after patrons — from helping families arriving just after a screening starts to efficiently resolving ticketing questions. Worth heading to directly when you know what you want to watch and are paying standard ticket prices.

“While I strive for excellent customer service, the age of the theaters makes it difficult to pinpoint specific issues like poor condition or dirty seats. However, Causeway Point cinema stands out as the most frequently visited and had minimal negative experiences..”

“Cathay Cineplex Causeway Point is located at level 7, hidden behind Kopitiam and Timezone. Even though tickets were bought online, the physical movie tickets need to be collected over the counter. There are many movie halls. Hall 4 is ok with three sections. There are no stairs down the theatre - it is a gentle sloping cinema towards the screen. For safety issues, gently sloping down towards the screen is good but not ideal for tall people sitting in front (blocking the people from watching the show behind).”

“**Update on 17 May** "SOS voucher" excluded for use on Mission Impossible. Unfortunately, the exclusion is unpredictable and not updated on the website. Making it impossible to make arrangements to watch movies with friends. EPIC failure. **DO NOT BUY ANY SOS Vouchers** **Update on 10 May** Managed to watch Movie Fox Hunt, a new movie with the "SOS" voucher. Not sure if there were changes made by Cathay, but it's a pleasant experience today. I tried my luck by coming to the cinema on a Saturday to ask if any movies were excluded from using the "SOS" voucher and I was told by the staff here were none at the moment. Tickets photo added. But still, having to try my luck each time to use the SOS voucher would be a drawback. ====== Dear Cathay, I supported Cathay by purchasing "Save Our Screens" vouchers. Only to be informed that certain movies does not allow the use of the vouchers. On a Sunday. Do note that this movie I have chosen to watch is just to get away from the afternoon heat and not a MUST WATCH movie. End decision is I will not watch this movie.”

Overview
SAS Cineplex at Causeway Point operates multiple screens on Level 7 of the mall, with a staff team that regularly draws praise for professionalism, patience with late arrivals, and efficient issue resolution. The theatre design uses a gently sloping floor toward the screen rather than stairs — a plus for younger children and pram users. Online ticket purchasers collect physical tickets at the counter. The cinema is accessible and pram-friendly throughout.
