đ Family Action Verdict
A genuine community skateboarding space with a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a strong starting point for children and teens new to the sport. The DIY nature means every session can be configured differently, and local skaters passing on skills gives the space real character. âThis place is located right behind two schools so it is less crowded with skaters which is great! But the place is a multi purpose hall an ppl ussully play basket ball there, making no room for the ramps to be placed(yes is a diy park) Hence the far journey therte is not worth it if there is many basket ball plyers there. Also scooter riders not allowed(i got kicked out. Great place to film a vid as you can set up the ramps urself! prob would come again thoâ

Overview
Aurora Skates fills a gap left by the closure of Woodlands Skatepark, operating as a community-initiated skateboard space within a multipurpose hall behind two schools on Woodlands Street 81. The ramps and obstacles are DIY and repositionable, allowing skaters to set up their preferred configuration. Experienced members of the local skating community actively help newcomers learn tricks, creating a welcoming entry point for children and teens taking up the sport. Skateboards only are permitted.
