1 / 2KidzWorld
π Singapore, Central
A dedicated children's area inside Singapore Zoo featuring hands-on animal encounters in Animal Land, Little Paws critter experiences, Splish Splash water play, and a forest-themed cafe.
Singapore Zoo is an amazing day out and well worth the visit. Getting there via public transport was easy β we used the MRT and then the bus, and it was very straightforward. Just a tip if youβre taking the bus: make sure you hop off at the correct stop, as buses only come about every 20 minutes (we accidentally got off at the Bird Park stopβ¦ whoops!). Once inside, use the QR code provided to plan your day. It really helps you map out the shows and animal interactions you most want to see so you donβt miss anything. Itβs quite humid, so staying hydrated is essential. Bringing a water bottle is a great idea β there are refill stations around the zoo if you need them. A small portable fan also comes in very handy. There is a tram that runs throughout the park, which is great because thereβs a fair bit of walking involved. All in all, itβs a fantastic experience with so many incredible animals to see. A truly memorable day for all ages.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families seeking a hands-on animal experience within Singapore Zoo, particularly those with younger children who enjoy domestic animal contact. The recent renovations have meaningfully improved the animal areas. Check attraction operating times before arriving β some exhibits may open later than the general entry time.

βAnother piece of history that will soon be lost. Many Singaporean kids will have fond memories over here. The KFC, petting zoo, and water playground holds loads of nostalgia. Admittedly, the place is in a dire need of a facelift. The paint has faced over the decades. Stepping into KidzWorld feels like going back in time to the 90s. For some reason, that brings me a lot of joy. I hope that the revamp will be successful in preserving this precious shared heritage.β
