1 / 2Keppel Discovery Wetlands
📍 Tanglin, Central
A natural freshwater wetland area within the Singapore Botanic Gardens featuring elevated boardwalks, lakeside dais, rocks to climb, and lush greenery — a calm, exploratory escape from the manicured park surrounds.
Possibly one of the lesser maintained spots in the beautiful gardens, but very glad to have something that looks a lot more natural in its outlook. Needs better signage as some others have pointed out, as one could go around in circles a bit since the walking loops don't connect to the onward trails.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
A rewarding nature walk for families with children who enjoy exploration and discovery over polished attractions. The boardwalks, rocks, and lakeside spots give curious kids plenty to engage with, and the serene environment offers genuine calm for parents.

“Serene, calm environment. Surrounded by lush greenery, this makes for a good run/ walk. Family friendly too, with various nooks and crannies to explore. Boardwalks, treetop walks, rocks to climb over and hide behind, lakeside dais. Goo addition to botanic gardens.”
