📍 Southern Islands, Central
A 3-level indoor electric go-kart circuit at Sentosa featuring collectible weapons, boosts, and shields during races. Designed by a former world champion, the track suits ages 9 and up with junior, senior, and dual-seater kart options.
Ernest showed a very professional attitude when dealing with customers. Instead of trying to please them at the attractions, his actions effectively ensured that patrons would think twice before coming back again. Honestly, I wish I had a coworker like Ernest—someone who helps chase customers away—so my job would be much more chill. Came earlier than 7pm, somehow still got blamed for being “late.” We booked through Travelodka. The listing clearly showed Game of Karts, but the tickets issued were for Senior Kart. We understood this was likely Travelodka’s mistake. Credit where it’s due: Atikah handled it properly and emailed us the correct ticket details so we could clarify. Then things went downhill. Our queue number was skipped, and they called next number instead. When we asked about it, the staff downstairs immediately accused us of being late and kept pushing our timeslot back—even though we were there early. Apparently, getting skipped in the system is now the customer’s fault. We were worried about missing UltraGolf, so we asked to play earlier since we didn’t do anything wrong. Atikah later informed us that UltraGolf staff agreed to let us enter slightly later, but that meant we had to rush because UltraGolf closes at 9pm. Despite all this, we were fine. Atikah did proper customer recovery by switching us to Game of Karts (instead of the wrongly issued Senior Kart ticket). We played, finished the game, and were chatting briefly afterward. That’s when a staff member named Earnest decided to shine. Instead of doing his job, he repeatedly nagged at us in a sarcastic tone, telling us to hurry to UltraGolf or “later you blame us.” Funny thing is—we were early. The delay was caused by staff skipping our queue number, not us. When we spoke up, Earnest didn’t apologise. He laughed. Professional, right? Later, the coworker came over—not to de-escalate, but to accuse us of shouting at his friend. No attempt to correct the sarcasm, no apology, just pure defensiveness. We were already leaving peacefully until Ernest decided to add one more unnecessary comment to stir things up. As we were leaving, we were told, “No one plays golf at night.” Then why are there floodlights at UltraGolf, and why is the operating hour clearly stated until 9pm? Overall, the staff were untrained, sarcastic, and unprofessional. Customer service here doesn’t retain customers—it actively chases them away. If that’s the goal, congratulations, mission accomplished.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Kids’ Birthday Party at HyperDrive! We had an absolutely superb experience hosting our child’s birthday party at HyperDrive, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From start to finish, the service was outstanding, and the entire team truly went above and beyond to make the day special. A huge thank you to Lin, Gary, Vanessa, and Ash for their incredible personal service. The planning process was smooth and reassuring, with thorough discussions throughout and every query answered patiently and promptly. They took great care in arranging the function room for us, along with café tables that had a direct view of the race tracks, which is a perfect setup for both kids and parents. The team also handled the e-party invitations and registration instructions ahead of time, which made everything organised and stress-free. On the day itself, the food was served right on time and was delicious. We really appreciated that the kids were allowed to have a quick bite before the safety briefing and changing into their race suits, balaclavas, and helmets. All safety checks were handled professionally, and the kids enjoyed two private races, which were incredibly exciting. The staff didn’t stop there, they also helped snap many lovely photos and even hosted some fun games after the races, keeping the energy and excitement going. Afterwards, we continued feasting on the food, had the birthday cake, and let the kids enjoy free play in the room. Throughout the entire event, the staff were always attentive, friendly, and readily available whenever we needed assistance. It was truly a superb experience. Both the kids and the parents had an amazing time, and we left with wonderful memories (and great photos!). Highly recommend HyperDrive for kids’ birthday parties, we wouldn’t hesitate to do it again!”

“I recently organized a company teambuilding event with Hyperdrive, and it was an absolute success from start to finish. Lin, Jack, and the entire team provided outstanding service—professional, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure everyone had a great time. The racing experience was thrilling, perfectly balancing fun and friendly competition. The facilities were modern, safe, and immersive, which really elevated the excitement for our group. On top of that, the food was excellent. The spread was well-prepared and satisfying, with the chicken wings being a clear favorite among our team. It was the perfect complement to an action-packed day. Overall, Hyperdrive delivered a seamless and memorable teambuilding experience. I would highly recommend them to any company looking to combine adrenaline, teamwork, and great hospitality.”

“Such a fun experience. The registration procedure and safety briefing was well done. Took my family of different skill abilities. The adventurous could go fast and the not so adventurous could be cautious. Carts were very adjustable and provided a screen on the steering wheel to see track times. Lots of fun”

Overview
HyperDrive at The Palawan @ Sentosa is Asia's first indoor gamified electric go-kart circuit, wrapping 308 metres of track across three levels and 14 turns. Racers collect power-ups mid-race — including homing missiles, speed boosts, and shields — for a Mario Kart-style experience on a real track. Junior karts suit ages 9 and up, while X-2Drive dual karts let a parent and young child race together.
