Fun! Went as a family with preteen kids. Would recommend for those who can swim and don’t mind falling/jumping into sea water (life vest is mandatory). Go as a group! - Getting there: about 10 minute walk from Beach Station. - Buying tickets: I bought mine on the spot via Sentosa website, 15% off with the free Islander membership. - Duration: 1 hour was sufficient. Session starts at the hour (2pm/3pm etc), be there about 15 minutes before to put on the life vest (provided, different sizes available) and to attend the short safety briefing. - Lockers: $6 for the small locker outside the public toilets/showers just about 1 minute walk away, pay by credit card, can re-open and use for up to 24 hours. - Start of session: need to swim a short stretch from platform to the inflatables. - Dressing: we went in long sleeves, long pants with water shoes which helped with sun protection and the grip of the slippery surfaces (e.g. algae at the steps to climb back onto the inflatables). Didn’t encounter barnacles. - Phones not allowed on the inflatables. - The inflatables had sufficient air pressure, will move up/down with the waves. - There were about 3 life guards looking out within the inflatables zone. - 2 of the tall slide structures (in the front view/ back view layout attached) are no longer there.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

An exhilarating open-water challenge for active families with confident swimmers aged 6 and above. The variety of obstacles accommodates different skill levels and ages — younger or smaller children complete fewer stations, and a full session still delivers a solid adventure.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Wear water shoes or anti-slip socks — algae on climbing steps makes surfaces slippery
Apply sunscreen to legs and arms — sun reflection off the water is intense
🎟️Arrive before your session starts for the mandatory safety briefing and life vest fitting

We visited 22 Feb for the 10am slot. We are the only guest. I did my reading of the reviews and came in long pants and wet shoes. Counter that “check” us in was very friendly. The lifeguards are not as friendly but they are not rude also lar. Have to say it was good fun for my 6 years old, just that he is a bit small for some of the obstacles. So we didn’t complete the whole aqua park but still took us almost 1hr of playing, we will sure to return in 1-2 years when he is older/taller. I didn’t see any barnacles as per other reviews but yes there are seaweeds so the steps up are very slippery of u don’t have wet shoes or anti slip socks. I notice they do sell anti slip socks at the counter. Also u can’t walk to this floating aqua park, there is a short swim from the platform.

Had a great time at Hydrodash yesterday. This is the second time we’ve been in two weeks as my kids enjoyed it so much! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Raqib and Patrick were great checking us in as we hadn’t booked in advance. Then on the Hydrodash itself one of the female lifeguards was really proactive in helping us out of the water and steadying us on the high jumps! Tips: - try to go at high tide if you want to do all the jumps. - bring wetsuit shoes or grippy socks as the surfaces can get quite hot. - wear lots of suncream, we got quite burnt even on our legs! - sessions run on the hour each hour but turn up 15mins earlier for the briefing - there’s fantastic public change rooms and water refill just over the road
