1 / 2Emily Park Playground
đ Newton, Central
Compact outdoor playground in Mount Emily Park featuring swings, slides, see-saws, and a bike track. Toddler and pram friendly, free entry, with excellent MRT and bus connections from Plaza Singapura.
Small and well maintained park that is easily accessible by bus and MRT. I came here for Tree planting as part of the SG One Million Trees challenge! I enjoyed the environment and was happy i could play a small role in making Singapore greener!
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and preschoolers who want a quiet, accessible green space close to the city centre. The compact size works in favour of younger children â everything is within easy sight lines. Car-free families will appreciate the walkable MRT connection. Older children seeking elaborate equipment will outgrow it quickly.

âQuaint little park atop Mt Emily hill. Thought that the playground could be abit more robust as a preschool is just beside it.â

Overview
Emily Park Playground sits atop Mount Emily hill, steps from Plaza Singapura, with swings, slides, see-saws, and a bike track for older children. Free entry and strong public transport links make it popular with car-free families. The playground sits beside a preschool and draws a community crowd. A recent renovation was underway as of early 2026 â confirm completion before visiting. Scale is small, which suits toddlers and preschoolers over older kids seeking more challenge.
