A well-maintained outdoor playground in Clementi with varied play equipment, an open-air adult exercise station, grassy picnic areas beneath tall shade trees, and beautiful flowering plants throughout the space.
My daily morning charge up spot. I go here regularly for yoga, fresh air and morning sun. Cozy grass and shady tall trees for the perfect picnics and naps. Plenty of space. Beautiful flowering plants outline a well equipped children's play area with slides, see saws, swing etc. Adult exercise station present with 5 to 6 machines for training upper and lower body. Covered benches present to shelter from the rain if needed. Very clean and well maintained. Perfect place for jogging, exercising, picnic, kids, the elderly, walking dogs etc. Suggested improvement: can provide a water fountain for drinking water.

“On November 27, 2005, West Coast Place Playground was opened to the public by the then Member of Parliament for Ayer Rajah SMC, Dr. Tan Cheng Bock as part of the upgrading project for the residents of West Coast Gardens. There is a plague that commemorates that auspicious eventful day as one sits in a sheltered gazebo with two large-size white-picket picnic tables. There is an open-air gymnasium to workout in the open space under hot sun and a huge playground for the kids to enjoy a great play date with friends and families.”

“At 8.27pm 4.5.22, this playground park is in total darkness. Why are the lights not switched on? Aren't they sensor controlled? Danger lurks for one who walks through it. Parallel to the park, weeks ago on 26.4.22, it was total darkness also at the Drive road as ALL the lights lining both sides of this road blacked out from the junction with the main road right through the whole length of Drive. So dark it was that a sense of danger popped up as one walked through to the destination at the other end. 😩 It's now been beautifully decorated ahead of National Day.”
