According to the Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary, a breakwater is "an offshore structure (such as a wall) protecting a harbor or beach from the force of waves." Here are some photos taken at the breakwater near the playground. When you turn away from the breakwater to face the opposite direction, you would see Marina Bay Sands in the distance. Understand that Pontian Shoal (in Malaysia) is much better. Can't wait to check it out.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

A rewarding outing for families who enjoy nature and open-air exploration. The bird watching activity β€” parrots, macaws, and singing birds in abundance β€” captivates kids who love wildlife. Plan for a self-contained trip with snacks and drinks in tow, as the nearest facilities are at Marina Barrage a short walk away.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Cycling to the park is the most enjoyable way to arrive β€” the route along the coast is scenic
⏰Marina Barrage is a short walk away and has the nearest washrooms
🎟️Bring your own snacks and water for the outing
πŸš—Open green areas are well-suited for kite flying, drone flying, and ball games

β€œVery close to the sea and can enjoy sea breeze and the view while waiting for your playing kids. The best is to come by bicycle since it's a little far off. Also, the nearest washroom will be only at the Marina Barrage.”
