[PRICE] (5 out of 5) $2 ENTRY $3 TUBE Great value for the price Though the tube is "optional" I would say that limits you quite a bit as most all of the slides require the tube. I have been to many water parks that I would say are better than this one or offer more pools and slides this is by far one of the cheapest I have ever been to. If this were more expensive I would probably give them a 3 out of 5 but since the cost was so low I gave them 4. [WAVE POOL] (5 out of 5) This way pool does not have sand (my preference) and is large enough for everyone. The lifeguards aren't too fussed about you getting close to the no swim line. [SLIDES] (3 out of 5) All but one of the slides requires the tubes which is kind of a bummer. The only slide that doesn't require a tube is pretty small. The inside of each of the tubes is pretty hot. The excitement factor would also be low in my opinion (speed, turns, and general craziness). [FACILITIES / SEATING] (2 of 5) In my opinion this place doesn't have enough seating for those that are not swimming. In addition to this there is not enough "shaded" seating. To finish this off the seating they do have doesn't have a decent view of the pools, slides, etc so you can keep a close watch on your kids.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

A great value outing for families who enjoy wave pool fun and basic outdoor swimming. The wave pool is a genuine crowd-pleaser with kids, and the learner lanes in the competition pool are useful for developing swimmers. Come prepared to enjoy the pools as the primary attraction.

“Jurong East Swimming Complex is a featured active SG swimming pool. It's very popular among kids as there's slides and huge areas for kids to play in the pool. There's also a competition lap pool. It is more pricey at $2 for adults during the weekend. There's a vending machine for drinks if you would like to have one after the swim. Competition pool during weekend is not very crowded. The side lanes in the competition pool are catered to kids who are learning swimming. There's also standing hair dryer in the toilet to dry your hair. The toilet so far is functioning well. Note: The huge structure with the slide is not open for now.”

“This used to have so many fond memories when it was still bustling with kids and teenagers. Now it is quaint, but it has already started to show its age. The water pipes are no longer functioning and has decomm for years, but there does not seem to have plans to revive or replace it. Such a pity as this was 1 of the best swimming pools available with lazy river and wave pools to the public. Hope the management looks into it and revives the swimming scene.”
