1 / 3Chestnut Close Playground
📍 Bukit Panjang, Central
A tranquil playground set along a well-lit park connector in the Chestnut Drive area, featuring classic equipment including swings, a see-saw and a roundabout, with easy access to extended walking routes.
This Playground is actually named as part of Chestnut Close Park (as per the sign thereat), but it is (located) in the Chestnut Drive Outlet Drain area (as per the relevant photo herein). In any case, this Playground is very popular with residents nearby in the vicinities of Dairy Farm (Road, Crescent, Walk and Lane), Chestnut (Drive, Crescent and Avenue) and Jalan Petir - as attested by the people using it, especially in the evenings. While this Playground has play equipment for the young, there is nearby an exercise station and public toilet just metres away from the Park, across the "Drain."
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Families who enjoy combining play with walking find this spot particularly rewarding. The peaceful atmosphere and well-lit pathways make evening visits especially pleasant, and the park connector links to a broader network of routes for those wanting to extend their outing.

“Stumbled across this charming park cum playground on one of my walks. It's a lovely place for a walk, and of course there are swings and stuff for kids. Walking in from Petir Road, it cuts across to Upper Bukit Timah Road. This period there's hardly anyone there especially during the day, so if you need a quiet place to recharge yourself, head on down.”

Overview
Chestnut Close Playground sits within a green corridor that links Petir Road to Upper Bukit Timah Road, making it a natural stop on a family walk rather than a standalone destination. Play equipment — swings, see-saw, and roundabout — suits younger children well, and the area gains a festive atmosphere during seasonal celebrations when decorative lighting is installed. A public toilet and exercise station are located just across the drain, adding practical convenience for longer visits.
